  • Bloomsix Announces Armada: Kingdoms [02.04.08]
  • BloomsixDeveloper Bloomsix has announced a mobile massive multiplayer online strategy game, Armada: Kingdoms, for Java-enable phones. The public release is scheduled for Q2 2008.

In Armada: Kingdoms, up to thousands of players can own towns and form kingdoms with other players. The goal of the game is for players to manage their economy, expand and ultimately attack their opponents. The game features a persistent world in which players to interact with logged out players, though the title is intended for short session game play: Bloomsix have announced that playing 10 minutes a day should be enough to manage a town yet the game is to offer a deeper experience for more dedicated players.

Bloomsix has been working on Armada: Kingdoms for a year. However, the concept was created in 2001 and several prototypes were created before this most recent version.

"After a year of production, Bloomsix is happy to announce Armada: Kingdoms to the public," said Joris Verschoor, one of the founders of Bloomsix. "We're excited to invite the world to play our beta soon."
