Mobile entertainment company In-Fusio have announced that Line Rider, based on the online "toy" is now available in the United States on Verizon and Sprint mobile devices. Line Rider Mobile lets players use a pencil tool to construct tracks filled with ramps, hills, and jumps to send a virtual sledder across and see if he makes it to the end.
Features include:
- * 9 line tools, including layered scenery.
- * Puzzles to test players mastery of the lines.
- * Preloaded tracks to start players own creations.
- * Music or sound effects to use during playbacks.
Line Rider was originally created by Bostjan Cadez, a Slovenian university student, in September of 2006. It almost immediately gathered a cult following and became the seventh quickest gaining keyword in Google, and has since generated over 16 million views, and versions of the Line Rider game are currently being developed by inXile Entertainment for console and PC.
