Developer Hands-On Mobile has announced the launch of Heroes Lore: Wind of Soltia on North American carriers. The first title in the Heroes Lore franchise, Heroes Lore: Wind of Soltia takes place in a world comprising over 100 maps and gamers can play as one of three playable characters, a Knight, Rogue, or Guardian.

Their characters must battle through locations including dungeons, deserts, icy tundra and lush grassland. Players can battle over 80 types of monsters and bosses, and can collect weapons and magical items.

Heroes Lore 2 became the "most successful mobile RPG of the year" in Korea, generating more than 100,000 downloads in less than a week, and the recent release of Heroes Lore 3 posted "the biggest blockbuster mobile sales ever (regardless of genre)" in Korea.

"Since the launch of the first Heroes Lore game, the franchise has become a phenomenon, generating more than two million downloads in Korea," said Michael Temkin, Chief Technology Officer and EVP Operations at Hands-On Mobile. "The North American mobile audience is ready for a true role-playing game so we're bringing a proven success to market.
