AT&T has announced that Guitar Hero III Mobile, developed by Hands On Mobile, is now available for download by AT&T customers to a number of handsets.

The title was previously released on Verizon Wireless, where it was in the top three selling games on the carrier's deck for 2007, and has been the carrier's top seller since.

Guitar Hero III Mobile features four authentic guitars and three venues, and challenges players to hit number keys in sync with colored notes that appear on a scrolling fret board.

Guitar Hero III for mobile offers 15 tracks from the Guitar Hero console series, including "Suck My Kiss" (by the Red Hot Chili Peppers) and "Rock You Like A Hurricane" (as made famous by The Scorpions), and offers AT&T customers the opportunity to expand their repertoire with new song packs that become available each month.
