 THQ Wireless announced the release of Star Wars: The Clone Wars, a mobile game based on the Cartoon Network animated series.
In the game, players take on the role of a clone trooper as he leads his squad through 15 missions and three different planets to find the Separtist Army's secret weapon and punish those responsible for an ambush attack.
Players will fight four different types of Separatist army droids and travel through terrain features such as climbable walls, bunkers, tunnels, and caverns.
Several characters from the Star Wars movies and The Clone Wars television series will also appear in the game, such as Obi-Wan Kenobi, Ahsoka Tano, and General Grievous.
Star Wars: The Clone Wars release for mobiles coincides with the worldwide debut of Star Wars: The Clone Wars: Lightsaber Duels for the Wii and Star Wars: The Clone Wars: Jedi Alliance for the Nintendo DS.
