Japanese mobile portal operator and e-commerce site DeNA announced a partnership with Namco Bandai Games to distribute Namco's mobile titles for DeNA's Mobage-Town platform.
The agreement will bring four titles to Mobage-Town initially, including ports of Namco's arcade classics Pac-Man and Xevious. One additional Namco mobile game will debut for the Mobage-Town service each month afterward.
Mobage-Town boasts 19 million subscribers, and leads as the top mobile gaming platform in Japan. The service currently offers over 400 games for Japanese cell phones.
DeNA plans to open a section of Mobage-Town dedicated exclusively to Namco Bandai's mobile games in the coming months. The two companies additionally announced plans to cooperatively develop new game titles exclusive to Mobage-Town.
