Mobile Complete has been awarded Mobile Monday's Global Peer Award for Community Favorite, selected from twenty-one global finalists for outstanding innovation in mobility for Project Mobile Experience.
Project Mobile Experience is to offer consumers a simple, friendly way to try out real cell phones in a virtual environment to help make an intelligent purchasing decision, according to Mobile Complete literature. Users are to be able to navigate through all the menus and features as if they were holding the actual phone itself.
Mobile Monday is an open community of mobile, telecom and media industry professionals, with chapters across the world. This was the third year the Peer Awards have been held, in which companies present 3-minute "elevator pitch" style presentations to panel jury, audience, and MobileMonday chapter heads.
Awards were also presented to French company RealEyes3D for advances in scanned handwriting software, and to a Swiss web-localizing application, Plazes. The awards ceremony was held during the 3GSM Congress.
