  • Hovr Launches Hovr MobileSpace [02.26.07]
  • HovrHovr has launched Hovr Mobilespace, a social network in which players can interact and compete against each other, with more than 100 titles from over a dozen mobile game publishers available to users at no cost due to Hovr's AdLogic Platform.

Like the free, ad-supported mobile content space currently occupied by Greystripe's Gamejump.com, Hovr uses their AdLogic Platform to place dynamic, targeted interactive advertisement into mobile content. Users view a commercial before the game begins, and in certain titles may see embedded product placements. Profile information, not shared with entities outside Hovr, are intended to allow Hovr's AdLogic platform to place relevant advertisements in front of people most likely to be interested in that content.

Hovr has struck distribution agreements with 14 major game publishers, including Kiloo and Ozura, and intend to continue adding new titles to its catalog. Titles currently available include Hugo Cannon Cruise and Texas Holdem'.

"Advertisers are looking for new ways to get important product and brand information in front of targeted audiences," said Vipul Sawhney, Hovr's president. "At the same time, consumers want a way to get mobile content without having to pay before trying it. Hovr's technology lets the needs and desires of these two groups form a perfect marriage inside the Hovr community."
