  • Fishlabs Signs Distribution Deal For North America [06.05.07]
  • Fishlabs

3D mobile game developer Fishlabs, has signed a distribution agreement with the WirelessDeveloper Agency, a wireless content brokering agency in North America, for a number of existing and upcoming 3D mobile games for Java and BREW handsets to be made available through Cingular, T-Mobile, Sprint PCS, Verizon, Bell Mobility and other carriers.

Among others the deal includes first-person shooter Robot Alliance, racing game Motoraver, and fantasy RPG Blades & Magic, a finalist at International Mobile Games Award and Mobile Gaming Hunt at the Game Developers Conference in San Francisco this year.

The news follows Fishlabs recent distribution deals with Player X and Sony Ericsson.

Konny Zsigo, President of WDA said "Fishlabs premium 3d games are simply outstanding. The graphics are superb; they wouldn't look out of place on a dedicated gaming device. The gameplay is straight-forward but always challenging and the longevity of titles like DEEP and Blades & Magic can compete with PC or console games. Even on BREW we haven't come across many premium games that are up to Fishlabs titles. These games will definitively raise the bar for 3D mobile gaming."

Fishlabs CEO and Co-Founder Michael Schade added, "We are excited about working with WDA as they have literally shaped the mobile content business in the US from the very beginning. Konny and his team know just everyone in the industry and we cant wait to see them bringing our high-end 3D games to all major carriers in the US and Canada.

"Furthermore, since they have distributed more games than anyone else in the region they really know best what's hot and what's not, and so they can tell us how to tweak our games to make them most attractive to the mobile gamers in North America. "
